With children now heading back to school, it is sort of fun to think back on how much they have grown and changed since September 2009. What are they bringing with them into the classroom that they didn't have last year? For some... its a few new teeth, more confidence, the ability to read a chapter book or write a story.

For me, it is the knowledge that I can draw. Also an appreciation of all of the practice it will take to get good at it. But just knowing after all of these years that being able to draw is a possibility is due to a great art teacher. Thanks Jeanette!
